What Happens When Things Go Wrong
Things will go wrong, but we can control how we respond to them.

Guiding Stars
We're a team with a different kind of vision.
Building value users are willing to pay for directly. Avoiding monetization models that depend on exploiting user data. Maintaining trust as a first-order product requirement.
User information may exist to operate the service (for example: account and login flows), but selling user data violates the trust model of the platform.
Ad-supported growth models usually depend on aggressive targeting and user profiling. That conflicts with the principle that users are not the product.
AI features should not be imposed on users, especially where they do not improve the current product experience or where they add disproportionate cost.
We aim to build a durable relationship with a privacy-first, non-corporate-minded user community.
